Good morning 👋 Have you ever thought reality itself might just be one big, elaborate simulation? You know, those days when everything feels a little too scripted, a bit too coincidental to be random. Well, physicists just burst that bubble. Using some fancy math and Gödel’s incompleteness theorem (don’t worry, we barely understand it either), researchers found reality is way too messy to run on any computer. Apparently, a proper simulation needs clear, logical algorithms, and whoever built this place has no idea what they are doing.

👎AI bombs the social media Turing Test. Researchers put nine leading AI models through the ringer to see if they could convincingly pass as human online. They all failed spectacularly, but not because of robotic phrasing or awkward grammar. The real giveaway was much worse: they were too nice. Actual people argue, mock, and melt down, while AI stays politely neutral and irritatingly pleasant. Unsurprisingly, the smartest models perform the worst, getting spotted nearly 80% of the time. Apparently, the secret to passing as human is to act like an emotional mess.

🧬 The rich are shopping for designer babies. Who cares if it’s banned in the US? A startup called Preventive has landed $30 million to sell genetically edited embryos in the UAE, where it’s perfectly legal. The genetic menu is pretty tempting: higher IQ, taller kids, lower anxiety, fewer diseases, even reduced chances of baldness. Tech bros like Elon Musk, Sam Altman, and Brian Armstrong are already backing genetic engineering startups or exploring custom embryos to breed their own little superhumans. Scientists warn this could permanently rewrite human genetics, but billionaires aren’t waiting around for evolution. Genetic superiority is the new class warfare.

🧑‍🚀NASA just realized China might colonize the Moon first. Suddenly they’re freaking out, throwing money at SpaceX and Blue Origin to speed things up. In typical Elon fashion, SpaceX immediately proposed orbiting AI data centers, electromagnetic cannons to launch satellites, and quantum computers hidden in freezing lunar craters. You know, totally normal stuff. Blue Origin jumped in too, promising they’d move heaven and Earth, corporate-speak for “send cash immediately.” Now NASA finds itself funding a sci-fi-style lunar tech race, all just to beat China from establishing strategic control over moon resources.

🏝️ What are we supposed to do all day if robots replace all the jobs? Elon Musk says his Optimus robots are an “infinite money glitch” that’ll end poverty, guarantee universal high income, and look so human you’ll have to poke them to make sure they’re machines. At first, infinite leisure sounds amazing. Hanging out with friends, traveling, or swinging in hammocks forever? Sign us up. But without anything to strive for, the excitement of endless downtime may soon fade, and we’ll have to find something else to make life meaningful. Maybe we’ll make great pets.

🤑 AI funding is now so huge it makes zero sense. Big Tech burned through $360 billion building AI data centers this year alone, and plan to spend another $1.5 trillion over the next few years. Eight of the ten most valuable companies in the world are now AI-driven, worth an insane $23T combined. Nvidia alone briefly surpassed the entire stock market value of most countries, hitting a $5T valuation. All these AI data centers combined will soon guzzle electricity equal to 44 million American homes. But sure, feeding people is totally unaffordable.
