💁♂️ When do we get our own JARVIS AI? Gen Z and Millennials already treat chatbots as trusted life advisors on health, career moves, money – even relationships. Next up are private AI agents, exclusively trained on your data to continuously improve over time. Tony Stark’s AI butler isn’t here yet, but Silicon Valley is burning billions to fix that.
©️ Anthropic just won a massive AI copyright battle. A federal judge ruled Anthropic’s LLM can legally train on copyrighted books without permission. This sets a powerful precedent for other AI companies facing similar lawsuits. But the court drew the line at Anthropic storing copies of the more than 7 million pirated books. Apparently reading is fair game, you just can’t keep stolen goods.
🧠 Google DeepMind dropped an AI “brain” for robots. The downloadable version of its Gemini Robotics AI model runs directly on robots, no internet required. It gives them dexterity, adaptability, and quick-learning skills right out of the box. The model easily adapts to different robot types and tasks, and works in remote or secure locations. Expect to see autonomous robots in the wild soon.
🤏 NVIDIA says smaller AI models are the future. Right now, almost every AI agent runs on massive, power-hungry models. NVIDIA thinks that’s backwards. They’re pushing for smaller, specialized LLMs trained on specific tasks. These models could cut costs, speed things up, and use less energy. When it comes to AI, bigger isn’t always better.
Analytics for AI Agents
Pendo Agent Analytics tracks exactly how your AI agents perform. It shows if people actually use them, what they use them for, and whether or not they help your business.
Why does it matter? Companies are rolling out AI everywhere, yet few know if it’s really working. Pendo Agent Analytics tracks what’s successful and where things go wrong. No guessing, just clear data.
Deploy AI you can trust. Use Pendo to manage AI agents confidently, keep them secure, and make sure they add real value.
🌐 Scientists have found a weird link between Earth’s magnetism and oxygen. Geological records from the last half-billion years show that whenever the magnetic field spikes, oxygen levels jump too. Nobody has a clue why. It matters because oxygen keeps us breathing and magnetism keeps our atmosphere from escaping into space. Another day, another planetary mystery we can’t solve.
🦟 China’s newest drone is the size of a mosquito. It flies on leaf-shaped wings, lands on 3 hair-thin legs, and is small enough to fit on your fingertip. Officially the microdrone is built for battlefield surveillance, as it can easily slip unnoticed into sensitive spots. Harvard’s RoboBee has similar tech. Yet China’s tiny drones have a fatal flaw: people are hardwired to smack mosquitoes.
